About Tryout Radar
Built by a baseball dad who got tired of scrolling.
If your kid plays select ball around Dallas-Fort Worth, you know the drill. A season ends, rosters shuffle, and somewhere out there is the right team for your player. Finding it means digging through Facebook groups at 11 at night, asking around at the bullpen, and hoping you hear about the tryout before the roster fills.
Tryout Radar exists because our family lived that. Same groups, same scrolling, same "wait, that tryout was YESTERDAY?" So we built the thing we kept wishing existed: one place that watches it all, checks the details, and taps you on the shoulder when a team near you needs a player your kid's age.

For parents
Tell us your kid's age group and your zip code. When a team nearby posts a tryout or has a roster spot open, you get an email. That's the whole product. No app to download, no account hoops, no cost. You spend the season watching baseball instead of watching Facebook.
Get free alertsFor coaches
You built the team. We'll help you fill it. List your tryout free and it goes in front of local parents who are actively looking, with alerts going to families matching your age group and area. Takes about two minutes.
List your tryoutOur promise to parents
- DFW baseball tryouts and roster opportunities come first. Coverage you can actually use beats coverage that looks impressive.
- No child data. Ever. We only track information about teams, coaches, and programs.
- A human reviews listings before they reach you. If we are not sure about a detail, we hold it rather than guess.
Where this is going
We are starting where we live: Dallas-Fort Worth baseball, deep enough to be the most complete tryout calendar in the metro. More Texas markets are next, and we would rather expand slowly and stay accurate than go wide and get sloppy.
