TRYOUT RADAR

About Tryout Radar

Built by a baseball dad who got tired of scrolling.

If your kid plays select ball, you know the drill. A season ends, rosters shuffle, and finding a team means digging through community posts, asking around at the bullpen, and hoping you hear about the tryout before the roster fills.

Tryout Radar exists because our family lived that. Same scrolling, same missed tryouts. We collect listings from community posts, team pages, and coach submissions so parents have one place to look.

For parents

Choose your kid's age group, ZIP code, and radius. In areas with live alerts, we email you when a newly listed tryout or roster opening matches. It is free, with no app to download.

For coaches

List your tryout for free. Once reviewed and published, parents can find it on the site. Eligible listings can also reach families whose alert preferences match.

Our promise to parents

  • Nearby baseball tryouts and roster opportunities come first. Coverage you can actually use beats coverage that looks impressive.
  • No child data. Ever. We only track information about teams, coaches, and programs.
  • Listings are checked against our rules before they reach you. If we are not sure about a detail, we hold it rather than guess.

Where this is going

We cover several metros, and the number of listings varies by area and age group. We want to build useful local coverage before expanding further. Depth matters more than a long list of cities.
