About this team
The Optimist Club of Fort Worth has sponsored youth baseball for 69 consecutive years since 1955, serving boys and girls ages 5-14 primarily from the Southside, TCU, and Wedgwood areas. The program is now part of PONY Baseball (Protect Our Nations' Youth) with five divisions including the 10U Mustang division. Teams compete in district, area, and zone tournaments with recent success in regional and national competition.
