7U Baseball Tryouts in DFW

At 7U, most leagues use coach pitch or machine pitch. Base paths run 60 feet; mound distance is 35-40 feet depending on the organization. This is the year kids learn fielding positions, base running, and how to hit against live-ish movement. Rec programs dominate at this age. Select 7U teams exist but are uncommon in DFW and generally not worth the extra cost at this developmental stage. Season commitment is typically 8-12 weeks with one or two practices per week.
