Full kid pitch, 60-foot base paths, 46-foot mound. The rules are stable enough that 10U baseball looks like recognizable baseball for the first time. Leading off is still not allowed in most 10U leagues. Select activity runs high at this age in DFW. Most established club organizations run dedicated 10U programs with year-round schedules and 15-20 tournament weekends.
Pitching rules: Full kid pitch. No leading off in most 10U leagues.
Field dimensions: 60-foot base paths, 46-foot mound distance.
Commitment: Select: 2-3 practices/week, 15-20 tournament weekends/year.
Cost range: Rec: $100-300/season. Select: $2,000-4,500.
